We provide Echocardiogram which is a test that uses ultrasound to the heart muscle and heart valves so as to assess the overall function and structure of the heart, determine the presence of many types of heart disease, follow up the progress of heart valve disease over time and evaluate the effectiveness of medical or surgical treatments.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor: Measuring blood pressure as you move around, living your normal daily life. It is measured for up to 24 hours. A small digital blood pressure monitor is attached to a belt around your waist and connected to a cuff around your upper arm. The doctor may require it to see how well your medicines are working, to make sure they are controlling your blood pressure throughout the day and to able to adjust or change the medicine in case there is blood pressure changes.
Electrocardiography (ECG): We also offer this service which records the electrical activity of the heart in which electrodes are placed on the skin of the chest and connected in a specific order to a machine that, when turned on, measures electrical activity all over the heart. This may be done to identify the underlying rate and rhythm mechanism of the heart, evidence of increased thickness (hypertrophy) of the heart muscle, evidence of damage to the various parts of the heart muscle and patterns of abnormal electric activity that may predispose the patient to cardiac rhythm disorders.
Holter ECG: We recommend this when there is a need of more information about how the heart functions than a routine electrocardiogram (ECG) can give. It is a continuous test to record heart rate and rhythm for 24 or 48 hours by wearing Holter device as you go about your normal daily routine.
